COVID-19
March 31, 2020
Dear Patients
In order to help ensure the health and safety of our staff in response to Covid-19, we request that any patients attending for cosmetic purposes reschedule their appointments. Reception staff will make an appointment in several months-time if you wish. This too, may need to be reviewed depending on how long the current restrictions last.
The practice will remain open for the foreseeable future to assess and manage patients with significant venous disease. Patients attending with medical problems are reminded to respect the 1.5m distancing from staff and others. Alcohol based hand sanitizer is available at the front desk and your hands need to air-dry.
You need to monitor yourself for symptoms. If you (or someone in your household) develop a cough or low-grade fever (37.3 or above) you should stay home and self-isolate for 14 days, avoiding close contact with people and you should seek medical advice by phoning your GP. Patients (or their accompanying friend or relative) who have had a test to see if they have contracted COVID-19, should cancel appointments until their results are clear. Anyone who contracted Covid-19 will need to remain in isolation until they test negative for the virus.
We thank you for your ongoing cooperation and support and we hope that our families, staff and patients stay safe and well during this time.
Best Wishes
Dr David Jenkins
